What To Expect

During your initial consultation at Gower Family Dentistry, our experienced dental team will evaluate your dental health and discuss your orthodontic goals. If SureSmile is the right treatment for you, we will take digital impressions or molds of your teeth, which will serve as the basis for creating your customized treatment plan.

Once your treatment plan is finalized, we will fabricate your customized SureSmile aligners. Our team will guide you through the process of wearing and maintaining your aligners, ensuring that you have a thorough understanding of the treatment protocol.

It is important to note that while SureSmile trays can be removed, they must be worn 22-24 hrs each day. The ability to remove them is wonderful for keeping teeth clean, as brushing and flossing can be done as you normally would, and eating with them out doesn’t impact normal function, however, patients must remember to place them back in the mouth.

SureSmile Maintenance
and Care

Proper maintenance and care are essential for maximizing the effectiveness of your SureSmile treatment. Here are some tips to keep in mind:

  • Oral Hygiene: Continue to brush your teeth at least twice a day and floss daily. Maintaining good oral hygiene will help prevent plaque buildup and keep your teeth and gums healthy throughout the treatment process.
